Caramel Popcorn...

I started out with It's Friday as my title, but I have already used this, so I tried It's Friday Again, and I have alreay used this, so i tried thank god it's Friday, and alas, that one too I have used... so you got the first random thought that came to my mind as a title. Not that I want any, it just flashed into my head....

the stream of conscious that led to that thought if I can remember... I was reading Jonathan's blog, and thought of Carmel... one of my coworkers mentioned lunch, and I thought of Poppycock, which is Caramel popcorn... so there you have it.

I thought this was appropriate, seeing as how our IT guy made us all change our passwords... For you Lar... lol :)

I had to post it, even though it is beyond New Year... too cute!

I am still feeling like Crapola today! I don't know what it is that I have caught, perhaps an upper respiratory infection, perhaps just sinus and allergy shite, but now it is settled in my chest as always, and I fear I have bronchitis. enough of the wowas me...

Postage is going up on the 8th... I have to go and buy some three cent stamps... Wow, it will now be 39 cents to mail a letter, what happened to going up 1 cent at a time... has it ever jumped a whole three cents? this reminds me of a ziggy cartoon, I wish I could find it... Something along the lines of, "Just when I thought I had the incoming enough to match the outgoing, I forgot to total in the postage" how true how true.

I am feeling a trite random today, my thoughts are almost as scattered on this screen as they are in my head. LOL!

It should be a good weekend. I am going to hang out with James at his house tonight, then I think tomorrow we are going to play disc golf. I can't wait! I sure hope I feel better by then! I need to go buy my books too, as school will be starting back on Monday. Next week is going to be busy, getting back into the swing of things and being all studious again. I have also been subpoenaed for trial on Wednesday in Volusia County in Reference to a case we had last year. This should be fun! I have everything prepared, and even know what I am going to wear. I can't discuss the details but I know that I have done my part to get them every scap of every record they could ever need for prosecution!

In other news, I had fallen off the nonsmokers band waggon, and was ashamed. But I picked up the pieces and got back on, and I am proud to say that it has been 6 days with NO cheating, not one drag from one stinky butt! I want to thank those who have had to put up with me, as I know that I can be a royal bitch... (royal...) I am thinking I have got it licked. I have been around it at work, and still have not even thought of going out there. Nor have I fed my face continually, which is customary for those who quit smoking. It is not an easy feat, but it is a good choice, and I plan to stick with it this time. This was a good time to quit, pretty much no stress, no school work, no pending tests or papers... just relaxing time out of school.

For once, I really did not miss school during the break. I stayed just as busy as when I am in school. I finally got to catch up on blogs today. It was nice!

Thought for the Day: We either make ourselves happy or miserable, the amount of work is the same. ~ Carlos Castaneda

I never give them hell, I just tell the truth and they think it's hell. ~Harry Turman

Factoid: The ammunition belts in WWII aircraft were 27 feet long, reminiscent of the expression "the whole nine yards".

And a question I pose to the readers... what charecteristic do you value most in yourself?

For me, it is my stubborness. I simply don't give up, I set my mind to do something, and I by God do it, or exhaust all efforts trying. It bleeds over into other aspects of me as well, like if I tell you I am going to do something, I will. I guess determination is a better word than stubborn.

I have tried to take this whole blog thing and make it mine, and in doing so, I have found friends in unlikely places, developed bonds across oceans. You have all touched me in one way or another, and I thank you for that! A while ago, I posted something about my thoughts on the way people touch us. However brief the interaction with us is, every one leaves an imprint. It is like throwing a stone in the water. The ripples, though they seem small at first, you watch them grow, and the larger the pebble, the larger the ring of ripples.

Well folks, I really don't have anything else to talk about.

Well it's great to hear that you have had it too busy too miss school. I kinda got the same thing. I had this vacation a great time and i loved every minute of it.

I think my best characteristic is ehm… how do you call it. That I'm kinda down-to-earth. My dad sees all symbolic things in everything I just take everything as it comes. He's totally afraid of death. for me it's just a remainder of that I should get everything out of life. What I kinda did last night (will post it that story tonight)
